Love to but it would appear I will be overseas then.

Quite a pity as it would have been nice to get my medals out. Although after my Anzac Day 2009 experience in Melbourne probably good thing I can't attend..........the rudest female ever came up to me and asked whose medals I was wearing. When I told her my own she walked off in a huff. She seemed to think that cute young females aren't allowed to earn and wear their own medals!

This sounds like a lot of fun, and as a PS (I'll miss out on SG by one transtas flight, and no chance to do one before end of this month ) it's probably one of the few ways I'll see the T1 and T2 F lounges.

Put me down as Standby.

Probably just the SFR... I'm more interested in seeing the SYD F lounge than the MEL F lounge.

You’d get into the Business lounge as a minimum, that’s what I always knew might happen if the numbers didn’t get up, I’m not worried

JQ3 on the Monday has jumped up a bucket - now $159 for JetSaver Light.

Still go for JQ35 on Saturday - $59 SYD-MEL JetSaver Light.

EDIT: Booked JQ35. JQ3 still thinking about it... :-|

I’d have expected the flight to leave first would go up in price first, but I guess it’s all loads right, that’s a good thing! At least for Saturday. Though still 3 months out.

Given there's a day in between (Sun 25 Apr 2010, or the real Anzac day), there will also be a chance for some of us to either do something in MEL, meet up with resident (or passers-through) MEL AFFers or the like.

If something is organised I may be interested in doing a BNE-SYD-MEL-BNE Anzac Day long weekend. Would be nice to know so I can book a HPC $99 rate room at Hilton Melbourne Airport for the Sunday night.

Unfortunately I am still a no show for the JQ flights....

P.S. If someone needs access to the MEL F lounge on the Monday, or even the SYD F lounge on the Saturday, then you can always purchase a cheap JQ airfare for me, I guest you into the F lounge, and then I do a no show for the JQ flight....

No updates as of yet; I should update the main list actually.

Just FYI still seems to be reasonable JetSaver fares for the SYD-MEL leg on 24/04 but no good ones for MEL-SYD on 26/04 (cheapest is $159 - not a good price for JetSaver Light).

Well, I'm booked up for Monday's run up.

Since I couldn't bring myself to blow $159 on a flight that would offer no SCs or points, I bit the bullet and just took the d**n Star Class fare.

Not a great SC rate by any mention, but comparable with most QF Y fares and much better than both JetSaver or JetFlex fare rates.
