Which one are you on? Warfarin seems so much more difficult to manage.
Clopidogrel and aspirin. I think this combo caused a bleed in my thyroids when I was trying to massage a stiff neck 😳.
Fortunately I’m off clopid now. Only on aspirin for another 3 months to reduce any blood clots due to the mesh device now in my heart wall.

Thanks again for all the support.
I sometimes feel like I'm having a bit of a whinge, whereas I should just suck it up, as I know there are a lot of people worse off than me in so many ways.
However it does get a bit wearing.
How are you doing now?

Having permission from his daughter Mel, it is with saddened heart that I need to inform that Roger Kambah passed away on the 19th April.

For those that knew Roger and may be interested, I will have log in details so that you can stream and be a part of Roger's funeral.
Send me a PM and I shall pass those details on to you.

Mel has also invited anybody that would like a few words said to send her an email by this Friday morning. PM me for Mel's email address.

Having met Roger on numerous occasions, I really enjoyed his company and phone conversations we had.
I shall certainly miss him.

Oh I am so sorry to hear this. He has been a mighty warrior. Please pass on my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Oh this is sad to hear. I’ve not had the privilege to meet Roger in person but have enjoyed our chats on this thread. Please do send my deepest condolences to his family. Thanks @Buzzard

Very sad to hear the news. Roger was part of our 'occasional' coffee catch up here in Canberra. Sympathy to MrsRK as well; she often came to coffee as well.

Sad news indeed. Condolences to family and loved ones.
This has given me a bit of a shake to be frank. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic bowel cancer back in Sept 2021. Been through 12 cycles of chemo including Folfox and cetuximab. Horrible cytotoxic that cetuximab is. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Mentally and physically challenging on all levels. Now on Xelabine and my markers have dropped from >2000 to less than 20.
The weird thing for me is I have a absolutely no symptoms from the cancer or side effects from the current treatment. Told I have (statistically) less than 2 years to live. Hard to reconcile as I feel fine. Anyway, plenty of challenges ahead. Planning lots of travel. If not now, when?
