AFF Cruise #2. Rerun. Crown Princess 4 nights 25-29 January 2025

Two dinner reservations have been made in Botticelli Dining Room at 7:00 pm. Six people on one table and 5 on the other as the booking system could not handle more than 10 people. When we get there we can talk to them about merging the tables.

Wow, the app already shows my dinner booking. Much better app experience than Royal Caribbean so far!

On my app, there is a booking for 5 on the 25, 26, 27 and 28, all 7pm at Botticelli ... Is that what was intended?

Yep. A random 6 on one table and 5 on the other. We can swap who sit where as required if we cannot change it to a single booking for 11.

To make the booking I had to make one booking via my app and one via my wife's app.

The same each day for simplicity.

So, what's the deal with upgrades? You get the worst room in the category you 'upgrade' to (that no-one selected initially? Behind lifeboats? Fantastic deal?

I'd go from a 'Premium balcony' deck 10 Caribe to a 'mini suite' ...... (unknown).

My email arrived this morning, applied for an upgrade to mini-suite. I wonder if they do this just incase they have a cancellation.
@RooFlyer I think you have a cabin on your own?? if so note this:

A mini suite would be near the centre of the boat, and it would be a good location (if you want to be near the lifts)

Annnnnd just found this:

Out of last minute interest I just checked the availability and when this Balcony is selected the result requests you to choose preferred location, and every location offered says "sold out". Bait and no switch.

Saw that, thanks. Thought it might still be worth it, but decided not to bother before I saw your and CMA222's 'sold out' comments. Hopefully not long in the room anyway.

For the mini-suite, the extra room is via the cabin extending underneath the wider balcony on the deck above. Potential for chair scraping above coming right into the mini-suite. Plus I'm currently near the centre of the vessel, what I'd like to be. She'll be right.
