Bills paid, dinner ordered. Wimped out and went medium rare...only because I don't want to end up being a gigantic drain on the Australian healthcare system ;).

The Hilton is currently showing a sale for Hilton Honors members for $135 / night Fully Prepaid ,for the days of AFF10, if anyone is still looking for accomodation is maybe still contemplating going . Your unlikely to get it any cheaper than this

A bit late but I booked today for $143 which is still pretty good. Now to cancel my existing more expensive booking.
However, I now have 3 separate bookings for my stay as the cheap rate was not available all nights.
I'll just have to get in touch with the hotel and see if they can join the bookings into one room type instead of 2 room types, after all I don't need a twin room.

Tick also for Friday drinks - but why is Friday dinner 'unavailable'.

I understand that the venue for Friday (and Sunday) dinner has not been decided as yet so unavailable or closed until such time as this is finalised.

Now eagerly awaiting Friday and Sunday dinners to open up.

Am currently in discussions with a dinner venue for Friday (which was one of the venues that was shortlisted for Saturday but was going through a change of ownership at the time of my enquiry). I should have this finalised early next week.

Just paid for both of us for the dinner. Still contemplating the other activities but will probably sign up for Saturday...

I still dont' have any dinner choices for TomVexille, If you'd like to give him a gentle nudge ;)

You too Fifa & Mr Fifa ;)

Should you need any assistance, I'll PM you with my contact over there (the Customer Experience Manager). You can tell them I sent you ;)

Buzzard I see you are coming over to Perth. If you need anything let us know as Perth is our home town. Don't worry too much about the time difference as it is only 90 minutes despite others saying it is 30 years.
Places we like for dining are Galileo, Bistro des Artistes, Chez Pierre, Cocos and Matilda Bay. Of course there are quite a few others.

First page of the thread has the data.

That's what I thought but it's not up to date for my information. I've paid and selected meals for me +1, will be at Friday drinks, not going to Rotto or anything on Sunday.

Any suggestions on getting into the city from the airport? Uber quotes at around $45-60, though with four of us flying in on the same flight, not so much an issue.

That seems very expensive. I would have thought a taxi would be about half that. I live about the same distance from the airport as going to the city and a taxi costs me about $25. Scope Swan Taxis.

Apparently the Uber website lied; the app suggests a far more reasonable price.
