Sounds like everybody had a great time. Good on you, it was shame to miss this event.
There is always next year!

I should also make mention of the NT Hilton GM, John Lucas, who provided nibbles before the Friday and Saturday night dinners. Finally got to catch up with him as we were checking out on Sunday morning.

Looks like a great do.

Sad that I missed it.

I'm really sad I missed it, but had other urgent family commitments. I love Darwin

Although not on the official program, 5 of us attended the Beer Can Regatta this afternoon. Was not exactly on the bucket list, but a must do, seeing we were already in town.

I think I have a new leader in the clubhouse for when I'm asked "what is the most Australian thing you've ever heard of" :D.

Glad to see a good time appears to have been had by all. Also, weather looks better than when I was in Darwin in a November not long ago!

I will hope to, somehow, attend #12, wherever and whenever it may occur. You may need to start going international soon though!

Not at all ignoring the fact I'm dragging up a post from July, but I'm also very hopeful about #12 ;) Too keen?

I was thinking of this myself this morning...... I will have my $450.00 Amex travel voucher I can use to get to the selected location.

Looking toward to finding out the destination

A discussion was held between the Administrators and Moderators to provide a fantastic event next year.
I don't disagree. Personally I think same weekend each year would be a better option. And yes I do realise some destinations may not be suitable at certain times of the year but so be it.

Good luck and hope the next one is more successful.

For the most part, the same weekend works. Traditionally it has been late-October, with 6 of the 11 events held in October, and another 3 in November. However, when you're in Hobart you want to be as close to summer as possible and that's why December was more appropriate in 2013.
