And my whole precinct just got evacuated. Grabbed my bags just in case we don't get back in before I need to leave.

Melbourne evacuations can last a long time. .... down 35 stories (its a LONG LONG way down) and well, meeting was then cancelled and everyone beat the Tullamarine traffic, and went early to the airport lounge ....

Already cleared so I assume a false alarm as usual. Luckily top floor is level 6 so not so bad for me.

You’re right about the headwind Rooflyer; our ETA into ADL is one hour late, so it means we’ve lost a bit of time as well as being late to leave. But shouldn’t complain - sounds like SYD flights are worse.

Btw I have executive lounge benefits. Can I guest someone in and if so how many?

I’m beginning to think I’ll Nigel NoFriends if I actually show up on-time at 6.30

and the gathering will be a handful of people by 8.30 who’ll all be very merry when the latecomers Turn up...

For those who need a LATE dinner, I do know an Indian restaurant down far end Pulteney st whose kitchen is usually open til 10pm ...
Don’t worry, we will be there to keep you company.

Technically only people staying in your room. I’ll let you manage the logistics of who may be staying with you. ;)
