Argh! We're already booked to be in Paris that weekend so I'm missing the AFF meet in my hometown :(

And I have booked the Adelaide HIX with points for this event. :) Also fully flexible if required to change.

I considered it, but I've enjoyed my stays at the IC and as nice as free breakfast sounds, there's some great cafes I can't wait to get back to in ADL.

I've just booked my room at the InterCon... it's a little high but fully flexible means I can always re-book anytime in the next 50 weeks!

+1 & I are booked into the IC on Friday and Sat as well (on an Ambassador Certificate as this stage); I guess that makes us Gold at this stage (haven't booked flights yet).

I just put in a placeholder booking there as well. But don't mark me as gold, the AA award booking window for these dates isn't even open yet :rolleyes:.

That might explain why the rate has gone up... hoping it comes back down again though in the future to re-book.

I have my ambassador certificate earmarked for other use, but will see. Decided not to go Club as I figure I'll do pre-drinks with everyone else, not on my own. Not really enough value in a breakfast.

Copper (and thanks for the heads up ;) )

I'll put myself + wife + daughter down as silver for now. The little one would have just reached 1 year so hopefully she is well enough to travel - although I can imagine everyone here hoping I won't be on the same plane. :P

Nah. Babies are wonderful. My daughter had over 50 flights in her first 12 months. She somehow manages to get all those around her on her side. She has a great sense of humour for someone so young.

Enjoy your daughter.

Put me down as interested. Having never met another AFF member it would be nice to put faces to some of the people that I have soaked some tips, tricks and travel wisdom from.
