I and my +1 had a great time on Saturday night. Thanks to Mr & Mrs Cove, Mr & Mrs kookaburra75 and jch for being great dinner companions. Special thanks to Mr Cove for being so generous with his Moss Wood. Lovely to catch up with others I’ve met before too. Ernst’s talk was terrific and I hope Matt is able to load the recording as part of his podcast or perhaps have Ernst as a guest.

MossWood and Cullens reds are my favourites from Margaret River after Penfolds gave me sticker shock with their 707 beauty.

We are at SYD now waiting for our flight to OOL.
Many thanks to all who contributed to a great weekend. Good food and company. Very enjoyable
A special thanks to Denali for the generous donation of golf balls. I will try not to lose them too quickly

Thank you all for coming to the gathering this past weekend. I thought it was a great success, and despite the many sleepless nights getting everything sorted, I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. It was lovely to see you all, both new and old, and I hope to see you again at the next event, whatever that may be.

I've had a request for some reviews of the Saturday night dinner by Long Chim and I would like to pass along a collection, so if anyone has anything they'd like to say, both good and (hopefully not) bad, please do post in this thread and we can construct a review from your shared experiences.

I am sure there will be some photos to come over the next week, and then we can turn our attentions to 2020, and I welcome your suggestions on our next exciting year: AFF14.

Once again, thanks for coming along and not making my job too hard. :)

Thank you to everyone for a terrific weekend! The organisers all did a great job and the prizes were a bonus. So much thought and work went into making it so successful.

We had a great weekend and are looking forward to the next event.

We’re currently in the SYD J lounge and have been told that our OOL flight has been cancelled as the aircraft has gone US.

Put on a J* charter departing at the same time from T2😮😮😮. I’m not sure that I believe what they told me - all the passengers are QF passengers from the OOL flight and it will be catered.

Maybe they looked at the manifest, saw your name and knew where you really wanted to be!

... and a special thanks to support, JessicaTam and others for making this fantastic event possible! The fact that things went so smoothly demonstrates superb organisational skills, attention to detail mixed with a healthy dose of patience and perseverance! Thanks all!!!

I'd like to echo the thanks and appreciation to the organisers and people behind the scenes who made the weekend such a great deal of fun. As well as thanks to the AFF'ers Mrs K and I got to meet, and no doubt will catch up in the future.

I only attended Saturday night and Sunday because of family commitments (visiting grand daughters) but what a time I had.
@Denali and @mrsterryn gave me some things to give away on a future wine tour but I decided to use some of the booty as prizes on Sunday.
Thank you both for your generosity as well as @samh004 and @RooFlyer
A pair of QF J pyjamas was also given away but because I'm just so tired ATM I can't for the life of me remember the donor. My apologies.
If not for some generous people on AFF I would be redundant.

My thanks also to everyone for making me feel welcome when husband Major wasn’t around on Friday for drinks at The Wine Emporium. Thoroughly enjoyed the Opera House tour and dinner Friday night and WOW, I’m a winner! AFFSolutions package, had a quick look today, so much information in there, thank to everyone involved in organising a great weekend and to AFF for prize donation.

I have to say that @support did the vast majority of the work. I just turned up and spoke loudly!
