Touchdown in HBA to a cool day , a few passing showers , but plenty of blue trying to dominate the skyline . Just picked up the car and about to venture up the east coast a bit for the day .

I have a meeting until 3, and the last one of these meetings went hideously overtime, so the chances of flying ahead are unfortunately low :(

To catch the earlier 16:30 service I would need to leave almost immediately after that meeting. Can I ring the MEL lounge and ask to fly ahead on the phone?

I don't think there is much point getting to the airport at 15:45 if I can't fly until 19:40, especially with the MEL VA lounge renovations.

Save some lunch for me at MEL. In the ADL QP they've still got breakfast out. Boarding in 20 mins for 11.40 departure and 13.30 arrival but it's a "refreshment" flight :( I really thought I could get an early lunch at ADL but apparently not.

Look out for me in the J lounge. I'm in black pants, red shirts, orange backpack ;)

In SYD, boarding soon.

Just arrived at the MEL QP. Anyone else here yet?

My upgrade request has been declined :(

A group of us are in the MEL J lounge in the corner nearest gate 1.
