Wondering if anyone (who's not yet posted arrival time) will be landing MEL around 4.30pm on Friday? If so, interested in sharing a taxi into the city (I'm staying at the HoTP but I'm sure we could come to an agreement )

I'm currently scheduled to arrive in Mel on VA at 1005pm (OK it was the cheapest flight at the time of booking), but am hoping to "Fly Ahead" and get into Mel around 5-530pm. Obviously, i won't know until I check in at Syd airport on Fri pm which flight i will be taking to Mel. Also, I have got a booking at both Holiday Inn on Flinders and HOTP on Fri night, but will probably stay at the former as I'm trying to complete IHG's "into the night" promo....in any case, if we can work around this, happy to share a cab....

It looks like I'll have to miss out on AFF Gathering #8. Very disappointed since I was looking forward to meeting more of the AFF community but I'm still seeking gainful employment (sheesh, finding a job is a tough job!) and had better not spend my pennies galavating around the country just now.
