Overall, perhaps.

The penultimate dinner last year had 42 attendees I think. If there were any late additions (of which I can't recall) then we'd be very close.

We are considering a trip to Green Island as part of the gathering, so perhaps hold off for just a short while in case it becomes part of the itinerary.

I might consider the same, although I would only be able to fit in the half day on Sunday as I'm on the 5pm flight out. (It's either that, or I'm flying JQ).

And to think I've been a visitor to this place for 3.5 years now and I have yet to do one of these trips... I guess AFF is as good as any other reason to finally go on one haha.

I have to admit I get on those orange flying tubes a little bit too often, but I would expect most here to give up half a day of Green Island (or a similar paradise) to avoid flying on JQ.

Hey all you lot. Can I place an order for at least one trip report on Green Island? Last family trip we were tossing up between Green and Fitzroy Islands and were getting mixed reports (all good but differing responses to "which is best"). We ended up doing an outer reef (yet again) as the eldest daughters boyfriend had never been :shock:. (can you imagine living in Oz your whole 21 years of life and never having snorkelled or dived the GBR!)

I have never snorkelled or dived and I am a few years older than 21. No desire to snorkel or dive.

Unfortunately, wijomas and I are unable to attend. We need to be elsewhere that weekend. Was looking forward to it too....

Will have to for sure attend another gathering.
