AFF Luggage tags - some ideas

And lets not forget the next step is to choose a design, then that design will be cleaned up, then it’ll be printed!

The template supplied has 2 design areas for front and back. It is up to the individuals who post their designs to use the supplied template. I do agree that seeing front and back at the se time has merit.

Mr!

That design will be the one with the highest rating tomorrow at 5 pm. We need a cut off and that's it otherwise we will still be trying to decide in 6 weeks time.

Make your votes count because come 1701 tomorrow afternoon, the decissions will be made :)

It's a bit disappointing that hardly any people have voted, though.

I’m thinking they’re just not interested in the hassle of registering for a different site to cast a vote, though it’s relatively painless and the site will be deleted with all details once the design has been chosen surely anyway!

Probably wont have a tag before the AGM, but looking forward to having one by my next scheduled trip, which is in April presently.

One thing - I am not sure the simple highest rated should get the go ahead as the rating is an average. So if 1 person votes 5 for one tag and 10 people vote 4 or 5 then the tag with only one vote will win...

I get the raw voting data fr the site.

Zac, will do in about 45 mins

So having spoken with munitalP, here's how it's going to work:
  • Image uploads close at 5PM Melbourne time Sunday 7th Feb
  • Voting closes 5PM Melbourne time Saturday 13th Feb
Yes, I know it's a pain to have to register for another site - but it's a v simple process; please please please create an account and log in to vote!

To answer some questions about the voting - the statistics show the number of votes and the average rating of each image. The information about who voted for what isn't shown, so I guess you could call it a "secret ballot". We'll use both sets of figures to determine the design that gets printed; assuming munitalP has no objections, I think it's reasonable to share the voting information in this thread after all is said and done.

Please contact either munitalP or myself by PM if you have any concerns.

Ohh, that's a shame. But I'm going to like whatever design is choosen.

I just noticed that on the davinci design the eyelet looks like a sun. That made me wonder if the design could have an icarus theme.

Anyway, too bad I missed the boat...

I vote for the one with the red stripe. I registered, voted and although I don't think I am that much of a dope I gave up after nine goes at the verification code. So one with red stripe.

The verification code is woeful. Took me 8 or so tries to get it, then every time I posted a comment, another 3-4. It's not very good (one of them looked like an upside-down V). Just persevere. You'll get it eventually (every vote counts on there, not here).

IIRC, there is a verification code when you sign up (agreed, it's mostly unreadable) and if you want to comment, but you can vote without a verification code.

Yes but you need the verification code to sign-up which is as bad as the ones to comment:)

And Re-Captcha is much much easier than this one (and they'll even read it aloud for you if you can't read it).

Agree that the Captcha is much easier!

Given the lack of voting on the kenny's site versus the number of posts in this thread (and assuming orders)

can I instead suggest we take the top 3/4/5 designs at close, put them all in the same format (ie front and back) and do the voting on this site

With a choose one design/ max one vote per person,

moa999,

Quite honestly I see no point in doing that. People have ample opportunity to vote as set up and if they do not do so, for what ever reason then so be it :!:
