Had a call from WAR who wanted to know how we felt about our investment.Gave the definite reply that WAR was causing us to stop looking at investing in any further Wilson funds. Mrscove was listening and was wishing that she was recording what I told them.
We do have WAM shares.

Nice interim divvie from CBA. But I don't like the misrepresentation here (not scaled)

Other than that, I'm so relieved I ignored the advice of my (former) financial adviser when I retired abt 6 years ago that I was "very overweight in CBA and need to sell about half". Yeah ... nah.

Tougher day today in the market. The CBA result wasn’t brilliant but when you consider that quite a few of their customers are struggling with inflated cost of living I think it was ok.

Avoid. Their sector has troubles that will need surgery.
I ditched them because their tax reporting is woefully late (ie Oct if you’re lucky!). But also a basket case now.

Any opinions on the Woodside slide? I have been tempted but then noticed Richard Goyder is chairman.

Woodside has a better CEO now. I don’t rate their Chairman and I hope he goes out the door sooner rather than later.
Next Monday we are going to listen to Rob Scott of Wesfarmers and Mrscove is coming too.
MMS had a pretty good report today. No FBT on electric vehicles is helping them with salary packaged vehicles.

I have a small parcel as a result of the BHP spinoff but have been torn on just selling that or topping up. As above, short term the dividend is ok but long term, I can’t see a good future (nor Santos).

I don't think you can expect to see the dividend at the level quoted on the financial pages. Nonetheless I was contemplating a purchase should they touch $30.
Edit: I wish I'd had the forethought to purchase in 1982 when I was working on the construction of the North Rankin A platform, their first production platform. The share price then was 15c.

Yes, I might bite the bullet and buy more around that price. They hit $40+ just after the merger.
