Applied for some Goodman Group shares in their placement today.

There are about 10 different broker reports that are all positive. Have they declared the dividend?

Yes WHC are going ex dividend on 27th February for 9 cents. They are expecting to be debt free by 31st March.
IPH result was pretty good so we still like that one.
Am pleased we sold Westpac and NAB a few days ago.Have just about finished using the proceeds.

Possibly not as happy as those who bought at $0.60 and sold at $2.72. Alas, I wasn’t one of those but could have been…

It was on my watch list about two years ago but I put it on the back burner. It was already over $2 when I noticed it was well into bubble territory!

Civil and Military applications for counter drone systems. Plus an Aussie startup that scored a few good contracts here and around the world. I actually had some professional dealings with the founder in a recent past life.

The fundamentals are ok but quite a small company in a busy and growing space. Apparently there was a potentially big whale contract that must have got away?

Amongst other applications. Just look are what’s happening in Ukraine and drone warfare.

“Drones” and counter drone system are an escalating mini arms race (and have been for a good few years).

The cost of this type of weaponry is minimal and so affordable for many hopeful particpants. Does this mean it is hit and miss finding a developer that will have success?

Was an interesting week in the ASX this week. CBA finally started to move down.
We bought CBAPM and Whitehaven Coal.
Had a colleague looking at the Wilson Founders Fund.
Meanwhile WAM has had a good month.

Was an interesting week in the ASX this week. CBA finally started to move down.

Still up 30 to 50% over a 1 to 2 yr period. The bigger uptick started around 1 yr ago, so possibly a few profit takers now with concessional CGT in the ring this week (spurned on by negative sentiment) - still, not a bad return.

I expect it and the other banks to rebound in due course. NAB was probably oversold. Time will tell.
