AFF Member Stock Discussion

WDS AGM is 8th May in Perth and we may go. This meeting last year attracted some real dopes so it could be really entertaining. I don’t rate Goyder as the Chairman.
The fact that Plibersek did not extend their operating agreement is a sticking point.
Some politicians have no idea about how Western Australia is holding the Australian economy together. They just want to spend the gains.
 
Yes the 2025 budget has immediately been ignored. Spending and promises have been out of control.
I read how my personal tax is being spent by visiting my MyGov account tonight. All that spending with nothing much to show for it. The future deficits don’t allow for a business downturn.

C'mon cove.. don't be coy..you keep mentioning it and we are all ears…. what is it ?
Surely not a boat…that would be a liability.. must be real estate.. maybe a donga on a remote island somewhere ?
 
No @tgh we are not buying a plane.
Mrscove cannot handle ships out in open oceans so no boat either. She gets seasick so no World cabin.
What we are getting should occur on Monday and we would not want to jinx it.
 
What probably most of us has been suspecting has now been confirmed by the Chinese - absolutely zero talks have taken place between China and America.

I wonder if the tariffs apply to second hand goods that were made in China and exported to Australia and used then listed on eBay Australia when no longer required - if no tariffs on second hand goods then Australians might be able to make a fortune from desperate Americans!
