AFF Review: Bonza from Sunshine Coast to Proserpine

I read today that Bonza have sold 100,000 tickets in two months. This can’t be a fluke. They have fully embraced their market and their market has fully embraced them cementing their business model value proposition.

Now to the next goal of ensuring long-term profitability. Businesses do need to make consistent profits.

You can sell 100,000 seats if the price is between $29-$99 but you won't pay for the planes.

What issues with the app do you and your fellow travellers have?
It's an app. I have enough c#@$ on my phone and don't need yet another app taking up space and chewing through resources that will almost never be used.
I expect to be able to search "bonza", be presented with a number of search results, one of which will be "book a flight" and proceed to book via a web site. Many of these apps are just wrappers around what is essentially web content anyway.

Agreed, lead-in/kick-off rev settings will differ from dynamic medium-term rev management.

The aspect that would give me confidence is that they seem to have done everything right to date, demonstrating that Bonza's management possesses a credible market penetration and growth strategy. Their owners have street cred in business management and own another LC airline in North America; it's not their first rodeo.

The stars seem to be aligning.

i just flew coffs harbour to sunshine coast for work and will do every 2 weeks. Was a great experience, new plane and cheap tix whats not to love? Was only half full so we need to get behind this airline if we want it to succeed!

Well I’m excited! An airline, flying from Bundaberg to Melbourne direct, at a budget price, what more incentive do you need to check out a new airline and a different city?
And given that their current regional airline competition is Link, I believe they’ll do remarkably well if, (unlike Link), they can keep their aircraft running to booked schedules and advertised flights times.
All power to you Bonza, I’m off to see the Yarra!

I have now flown with Bonza on three separate occasions and on all three of these occasions they have either canceled or delayed the flight over 24 hours. I have been left stranded and severely out of pocket financially with little to no help from the bonza team. Don't fly with Bonza ....cheap yes in more ways then you bargin for !
