Now all we need are matching AFF membership cards... blue, silver, and gold... users with >1400 posts can have platinum, and mods (and those with >4000 posts) can have black................. no?

Not sure what they could be used for though (besides discounts from the 'AFF exclusive offers' pages)! Haha

You register the tag online which maps back to your tag, anyone who has the tag number can get access to your email address.

There is no end date as such, but the offer is subject to availability. At the moment we do have sufficient to cover the demand. The tags are quite different to the previous tags designed by some of our members.

Do it. As admin said they are quite different to the previous tags. Not to take anything away from those involved in the past but IMHO these are a huge step up from the previous AFF and current FT tags.

It was an offer to Gold members, essentially these tags Australian Frequent Flyer Super Smart Tag (Pack of 2) [aff-sst] - $9.95 : The Frequent Flyer Store, Travel Gear for Frequent Flyers available in the store. They have a tracking code on them that allows airport staff to get your bags back to you.

I am not sure the paid Gold membership still attracts them, as I didn't get any when I upgraded my subscription. But I did get one loose in the parcel with some other items I bought from the AFF shop recently. Haven't travelled with it yet - next month probably.
