AFF website Advertising Issues

Is anyone else having issues accessing this forum on iPhone? (iOS 17.6.1 if it matters?)

Forum kind of “clicks on itself” and then I end up with multiple threads overlaid and always in times new Roman (vs whatever kind of serif it’s usually in)

Yes I've been encountering the same issues over the past week, using Chrome on Android. I suspect it's the new ads that's causing the issues?

Yeah I looked at signing up today, but not worth $6 per month

Everyone's different but I think it would be hard not to get $72 worth of value/savings/knowledge pa from here. That's on top of avoiding the ads

Yes I’ve not seen that thread before, but it’s definitely one of the ads.
Refreshing the page usually fixes it, as a different ad comes up.
Messages need to be short though as there’s a risk the troublesome ad (or series of ads) pops-up while you’re typing …

Of course, paying for ad-free prolly fixes it.

Noticed the same thing. Found if I scrolled down until the video ad sticks to the top and then clicking the x to get rid of it solves it for me, was very frustrating as I would refresh multiple times and get the same ad over and over.

That’s a bit harsh, True North is just trying to truthfully display through their effect on AFF what the effect upon the world of cruise-ships is!
