Another option in the city it Otto, which recently became an AMEX partner. They offer three course shared menu with BYO for $89, available for groups of 8 or more.

The food is nice at Cinco Bistro, but if it's busy, the timber floors make is too noisy. Impossible to have a conversation without shouting.

I think I can make that work and Otto looks good too.
 
I like the sound of that venue, but a mid week event on top of a few other commitments around that time is a bridge too far for me.

I know we are all super busy people but common it can't be that hard. I can do next week Tuesday but looks like not many can so how about the week after, Tuesday or Wednesday 24th or 25th?
 
GPH tells me I’m dreaming. The logistics are too hard. Unless there is wheelchair access, I won’t be going anywhere for a while. I’ve had to cancel 4 flights so far

I could be cheeky and suggest a venue in Cleveland that works for me. GPH wouldn’t mind I’m sure!

We’ve just said goodbye to Katie & family after their kind visit bearing Home baking and flowers. Looks like there’ll be a few luncheons here over the coming months.
