Air France missing screws after Chinese maintenance

Air France suspended the maintenance of its aircraft by Chinese company Taeco after 30 screws were found to be missing from one of its planes.

Apparently they do maintenance for LH and others too. Quite a worry for everyone.

Yes it is a worry however I'm not surprised by this.

Now who was it recently on AFF who said maintenance in China is just as good as in Australia & that LH have strict standards in China that have to be adhered to?

Possibly a Qantas supporter, given Taeco do and have done heavy maintenance for them for some time.

Standing up for the member who posted the comments, he stated that for them to be used by QF, VA etc, the companies carrying out the maintenance need to be approved by C.A.S.A
