Air NZ has announced a few program updates and changes:

We’re making some changes to Airpoints™

We're embarking on a journey to create an even more rewarding travel experience for you. As part of this, we are making some important changes to the programme and these FAQs will help you understand more about what is changing and how it affects you.

Probably the most interesting is that the AUD program will close and merge with the NZD program meaning all airpoints will be in NZD and all NZD features (like online booking on partners will become a thing).

Yep everyone’s balance was changed from AUD to NZD. It’s still not perfect as AU based accounts still can’t book star alliance flights online.
