Sorry if this has been asked before but hoping someone can help with some info for my family who are travelling to LAX on Air NZ in economy.

They have been able to secure Velocity Gold membership through work and are hoping to be able to….

- Use the lounge.

- Take extra baggage ( they are going skiing )

Would really appreciate if someone with knowledge could verify this.

Thanks for any help.

Lounge access not a problem.
Not sure about ski equipment though.

Just to be on the safe side they have prepaid their ski bags, since they couldn't be sure even after ringing Air NZ and Virgin. But the lounge will be nice for them.

On the same PRN they have a flight from LAX to Vancouver after 3 days in LA. This is on Air Canada. Will they still get the same lounge benefits if its an Air NZ code share. Obviously not if it is just an Air Canada flight number.

Thanks.

Air NZ have a lounge at LAX open 13:30 to 23:00. However I guess it depends what time the flight is?
