Air NZ Lounge Access with VA Lounge Membership

Okay I paid for lounge access with VA a few weeks ago..

I have a few Air NZ flights coming up and I have Air NZ lounge access.

How do they know that I have paid membership to the lounge ?

I never received a card or anything from VA :shock:

when you say you haven't received a card - do you already have a velocity card? if you do, that's all you need, and if you don't, just quote your membership number. there is no separate lounge card - it's all linked back to velocity

Yes I have the Velocity Silver card! I read somewhere (a few days ago) that some people received a VA "Lounge" card.

Sounds like then the card will be fine, and I'll have a printout of my account which shows lounge access

Just as an update to this when trying to access Air NZ lounges with a Virgin Australia lounge membership

MEL - Two staff - Didn't know where to look, I had a printout of my Velocity account which indicated lounge membership and they accepted this and thanked me for bringing it.
CHC - One staff member - Fiddling around in the system for a bit with my velocity account and saw that I had membership

My advice would be to carry a printout of your lounge membership on your velocity account when travelling in the meantime!

Thx for the advice...will be accessing Koru Club (domestic) at AKL by virtue of (matched ) Velocity Platinum. Not anticipating problems but will print and take something relevant from the VA/NZ site(s) anyway.

I'd say with a Platinum Velocity card you would be fine, as I am only silver, which doesn't give lounge access, and I purchased lounge access that's the main problem.
