Air Vanuatu Delays/Cancellations

During coronavirus, NF11, the Saturday 1 August 2020 proposed 1810 dinnertime SYD up to VLI was cancelled.

SYD (like BNE) continues to have severe restrictions per flight and in total per day as to how many inbound international passengers can be conveyed, while there's a ban on any revenue passengers into MEL from overseas. This compromises the ability of some if not all airlines to make a profit inbound and has seen international flights drop even further.

On Wednesday 5 August 2020, the unusually numbered flight NF11X at 1055 hours from SYD to VLI was cancelled.

NF11 on Friday 7 August was to be an 1115 hours late morning SYD up to VLI but once again, it's got the boot.

B737 VH-INU on Tuesday 7 June 2022 operating as NF811 from SYD across to VLI did not take off until 1202 hours, despite the flight having a departure time of 0900 and the inbound arriving only five late at 0805 hours.

Thursday 14 July 2022 finds NF31, the 1145 hours late morning from MEL to VLI expected to push back an hour late.

On Sunday 7 August 2022, NF21 from BNE across to VLI should depart at 2050 hours mid evening, 85 minutes tardy.
