With the savings I am sure you can get many hours of massages...

anyway I have done foot massages in both SIN, KUL and China,
I have found the ones in Malaysia are the best ones....

A foot massage at night after a full day of walking around is the best way to relax...

I'm used to Sheratons and Westins normally but I've got to try this mob.

Do post some pics and/or a small travel report, when you stay. I'm interested to see how well this mob does.

If Tune Hotels aren't up to your standards, you can always spend 3k SPG points and check into the Hotel Imperial, Kuala Lumpur about 1km down the road.

Not a bad use of SPG points, and we ended up staying there (on our first KL transit), and got a view of Menara KL Tower. There are 2 other Starwood properties in KL, if you want to do a mattress run to earn some SPG status.

I too am interested in seeing photos and reading a trip report of Tunes. I'm braving Air Asia PER-KUL-STN in June but I'm staying in the Panpacific hotel for the overnighter in KL. I'll be doing the trip again (so let's hope it isn't too bad the first time round) in November so if Tunes is any good the extra savings might push me to use it. Then, if that is any good I'll use it again for my Cambodia and Vietnam trip in January with MrsNSWhere, mum and the inlaws (yes, I'm scared already!).

As a self-funded and young sandgroper I have siezed the recent airasia specials (starting with a trip this weekend PER-KUL for a week for $200 return all inclusive). I figure (okay, I hope) they can't be that bad, I travel nearly weekly PER-MEL/SYD on DJ and JQ so I'm used to reasonably long discount Y travel.........

Have we figured out if anyone else is braving KUL-STD before June? If not I'll be sure to post a trip report (my first). I'm sure it'll be a good laugh for all you WPs used to J and F :p

Airasia had a problem with my December booking - I tried 4 times to catch the zero dollar one - now I have missed it.
Their website says call them and quote the number, but all they could tell me it had not gone through.
When I looked again, it was not free but regular price.
I'm sure while whatever is wrong, they are loosing bookings where a cc is flourished.
Not the end of the world, as only KUL-MEL was cheap, while yet again outbound was dear. I'd fly Jetstar, but they are not open for July or December.
Indications are bookings everywhere on the slide, so sure another sale will come up. BTW, if Jetstar is having Friday sales, I seem not to be able to find the link on Friday afternoon - is there a trick here?

For all those D7 bound folks, you can now webcheck-in at AirAsia Web Check-In for any Airasia/AirAsia X Flight.
