Has any had success getting their airberlin ticket reference on a Velocity reward booking?
Last week I booked one of these, decent value compared to the ticket price (12,500 points for a $450 ticket). When I made the booking the Velocity call centre rep gave me a VA reference and told me to call back later for the AB ref so I could select seats etc. Called back today and the rep tells me they never get an AB reference but maybe I can call airberlin directly.
So now I'm wondering whether it's worth contacting them, curious to know if anyone else has been able to make this work?
