Airports you've never left! (Well... only transited through!)

Manila airport was unreal, small and very crowded, was a maze from international to domestic, lucky had a local from BKKto come guide us, pat down by slimy looking immigration person, once airside, hot food (hamburger) sold from smoking room!, announced gate 3 move to gate 8, so about 400pax heading for one another, was like dodgem cars, one suitcase ran over my foot!.

Then taken to plane 1 hour late by bus, sat in plane for half hour with no air before departing, one announcement only "we are running late!".. said the pilot, fed 20c size packet of peanuts and had a glass of water (had no soft drink) for 1.5 hour flight.

Impressed no not really.

For me:
IPC x 1 wish I'd had time to stop!
PPT x 1 ditto!
SIN x 20 but stopped only twice
VVI x 1
RGL x 1
SNN x 1
HEL x 3
AUH x 1

there are quite a few others I've transited through but then visited years later.

same for me, except that I know terminals A, B, C, D & E very well!

I did leave DFW once for an overnight, but the one I have been to at least a dozen times and never left the port is ORD.

BKK (probably not many haven't visited there I'd say)

ORD (O'Hare innit?)

DFW (a common one it seems).

ORD x1
SCL x2
DEN x1
DRB x1
KNX x1
KTA x1
ZNE x1
BKK x3

That's all I can think of for now.

Have done 3 turnarounds at MNL without going airside on CX, surprisingly easy - transit takes about 10 minutes if the immigration staff aren't asleep (like the xray guy always is!).

Next week will be leaving the airport for the first time to go into town for work, slightly nervous but curious also.

IKA x 1
ANK x 1
DEL x 1
KHI x 1
DFW x 2

With an open mind & secure valuables, you may just enjoy the bizarre qualities of MNL :D

In NZ:
KAT

NPE
NPL x3
WSZ
DUD x2

In AU:
ADL
CFS

Can't think of any others in the world that I have flown into and never left the airport.

Auckland only so far, but I'll be adding a few Dubai transits this year.

For me:

DFW - lots of times
ATL - a few times
RDU
HEL
STL - a long time ago when it was still somewhat a hub
DXB - spent up to 5 hours in that overcrowded transit hole a few times.
AUH
KUL

MNL once, MEL maybe a dozen times.

I transited MEL from AKL to LST and return, on one trip, left AKL whilst 9/11 had just happened (we were watching it at the gate), then the return trip was after Ansett had collapsed. As a Kiwi transiting through MEL that day - it wasn't fun, Helen Clark was stuck on the tarmac, Ansett staff were heckling everyone - **** trip really. Another time transiting through MEL, I had to have emergency surgery in LST for appendicitis. Needless to say - I'm never transiting through MEL again!

Interesting thread!

DFW (x4), PHX, MEM, ATL, MSP, LHW, CKG, HYD,

Do we count airports you've not left the plane? If so I can add some more to the list:
ABX, NRA, IVR, BDB, BLT, GRU, PMC, NNT, PRH,

Bahrain and maybe HNL, pre-attaining majority. Post attaining majority I had SIN until last year. But I had left the airport as a minor.

DXB x 2
AUH x 4
SCL x 2
DEN
YUL
HNL
ELP
SLC
MAD
FRA

The furthest I have been at HKG is the hotel next to the airport , and have transited 28 times in total.
