I have platinum status with Qatar and should get free meet and assist. I have put my Qatar membership number into Al MAha when registering, but it still comes up with a fee when I request meet and assist service. How do I take advantage of free offer?

There are a number of other caveats to get this service such as it being a QR issued ticket. The complete list of rules are detailed somewhere on their website.

IT is a QR flight using Qantas rewards so I presume it is eligible. WIll have a further look.

I was in the exact scenario and researched this Platinum benefit. I read that it had to be ticketed by QR. Qantas issued tickets are not eligible. Let me know if you find out anything different!

Ticket starts with 081 so probably not eligible. I will contact when I get time and see
That condition just states has to be operated and marketed by QR, so QR flight number and QR plane (unless you're on an Oman Air plane but QR ticket as QR are leasing some WY planes).

I emailed to book last year. Didn't think I'd need it to transit but it was very handy. Someone was waiting at the end of the jetbridge for me, whisked through transit security to the lounge in no time.

Dear Mr. Kenneth Crofts,

Kindly note that complimentary Al Maha Services are only available to Qatar Airways Privilege Club – Platinum and Gold tier members.

As your ticket and membership is under Qantas Airlines we regret to inform that we are unable to proceed with the booking request.

I also had similar experience with someone waiting and reaching the transit lounge was very quick.
