Sorry if it's been covered before and I know reward tickets will get lounge access but specifically will I get Al Safwa access after doing PER-DOH First class reward and then connecting to DOH-ATH Business reward on 787-8 which does not have first class section

I am looking at traveling DOH to PER or BKK. Reason is that on both Velocity and AA those 2 routes tend to have reasonable f award availability.
Now often that means a flight at OMG O'clock ~ 2.30am.
I will be getting off a cruise and have to be off the ship by 1000. will probably book a city tour but want to know how early does check in open for early morning flights from DOH as we wish to have as much time as possible in the Al Safwa lounge.

I don't know officially but we checked in for our J DOH-PER at about 7-30 at night and nobody batted an eyelid.

Admittedly it was during COVID but I spent nearly 24 hours at Al Safwa and no one was bothered though I did get asked when my flight was multiple times!

Well the cruise that I referred to earlier has been cancelled but better luck with the replacement cruise which ends in Lisbon. I can get award flights to Bangkok in F arriving in Doha at 4.25pm and flying out next morning at 8.30pm. Have a real first world problem. Can you sleep in the Al Safwa lounge or do I go to the lounge first and have dinner before going to a hotel for the night?

The First Class bus if you arrive at a bus gate - very common. But no drinks service!!

You can rent the sleep rooms for a period of time, I think it’s 5 or 6hrs

Or, if you don't want to be bothered with going landside, there is also the Oryx hotel airside. Expensive, but not a bad option if, like me, you are perennially tired in transit. Pics etc here

There are also the Sleep 'n Fly Sleep Lounges which are accessible with Priority Pass (never used them, though).

We did this in April as we had 10 hours between our flights. I recommend requesting a booking for the room asap when you arrive at the lounge. It could be busy especially if you are after a double room. Maximum stay is 6 hours.

I can certainly verify this, having done twice now. 6 hours at a time though they can be lenient if not overly busy. Of course all the most desirable times (eg overnight) are busy so register as soon as you arrive.

Yeah, I passed through DOH about three months ago with an outbound F ticket to BKK. They were oversubscribed for sleep rooms when I arrived (circa midnight) but I booked for a (paid) massage treatment and the masseuse afterward offered to run me a jacuzzi and let me doze on the treatment bed while waiting. So in the end I got a massage, a prolonged soak in the jacuzzi and a light snooze.
