So that's why there is a double bonus points on all transactions from August 1st to August 31st, eh? I have had a citi Gold Visa forever (no AF), and I almost never use it. I thought of putting it back in my wallet a couple of months ago, then I started reading here about the changes in redemption rates for FF programs, so it went back into the sock drawer. Just got it out after I received the double points promo postcard, and now it'd going right back, after seeing the daylight for just one day... back to Wollies MC, I guess. Oh, and we'll change our no Discovery QF Amex to Escape VA Amex soon. Or has anyone been able to apply for a VA Escape card and receive the bonus, even whilst already having the QF Discovery version of the same no AF card?
