What's the latest info re Emirates amenity kits in business? Which flights give them (night departure only?) I'm flying MEL-LHR via DXB soon. If they don't give them out on these flights, is it worth asking if they carry spares?

I went Sydney to London and back to Brisbane this year. The Australia-Dubai sectors had amenities. The London-Dubai sectors didn't.

All in all, the London-Dubai sector was a bit of a disappointment compared to the longer one, in almost every way. Perhaps the UK teams weren't up to scratch, I don't know.

Similar experience (for Mrs and Ms 11, I was in F!) when departing Rome at 1550 earlier this month. No amenity kit on that flight but the late night (early morning) DXB-KUL they were given kits.

in December 2022 - January 2023 we did MEL-DXB - amenity kit provided
DXB -MUC - no amenity kit
BUD-DXB - no amenity kit
DXB-MEL - amenity kit provided

so our experience supports @randomly_chaotic

So I've just returned and out of the 4 flights I received 3 amenity kits (2 different styles but same contents):
MEL-DBX morning flight ✓
DBX -LHR afternoon flight X
LHR -DBX evening/overnight flight ✓
DBX - MEL day/overnight flight ✓
