Am so fed up with using AA Clubs in the USA while on a QANTAS ticket. Between connecting flights there's no free Internet offered unless waiting to board international. The food offered is dismal, even the paid options. As well in LAX QF pax are handed 2 drink vouchers and told if they want to drink more hey can go back to the desk and ask for them!

Does any one know any other lounge options hen flying Qzf out of LAX?

Remember basic drinks are now free, and you can use the drink chits for free premium drinks.

Personally - I eat outside the lounge at Chilis or similar, and use the lounge for shower, drinks and chilling out.

They still have the desktop computers available which are free if you don't qualify for the free wireless.

I have a bunch of the free wireless day passes here somewhere.

PM me if you still need one and I'll send you the PIN for one.

I'm the same, I usually eat outside the lounges as the options are much more existent.
If you look at them as a place to sit which is more comfortable than downstairs, then they are fine. If however you expect the same levels of service as we get with even the QP's, then you will be disappointed.

PPass lounges are rarely better (partic in the US)

Face it - we just get spoilt with QF/DJ offerings here.

Yes, they do offer somewhere to get away from the throng, and drinks and showers. There's no problem with bringing in food from the food-court if someone is hungry.

There's no way that I'd choose to spend my time outside of the lounges.

Its not that I very often drink alcohol. I subscribe to the thory if I am going to drink then it will what I want and not just because it's available. However I don't like this system i.e. the 'measuring' out of drink tickets to QANTAS flyers.

The inconsistency between AA Clubs in regards to free wireless is also frustrating beyond measure. At DFW you can go into one Club and be refused, change terminals, enter the AA Club and the staff there let you use it.

Jan 4th is my 6th trip on this route in five months, I think I'm just over it. :)
