Just noticed this when poking around the velocity site. Couldn't find a thread about this offer already. Feel free to delete this if there is one.

American Express: American Express Velocity Gold Card

I didn't see the annual card fee but I guess there would be one.

I took it up a couple of years ago when the offer included 200 status credits. At the moment there are better offers out there for signon points unless you can get real value from the free flight.
 
This is also available for QFF users too right?

Has anyone had any luck applying and cancelling before the fees kick in?
