Thought I'd add my referral just in case there's anyone left who doesn't have this card!

It's been a good setup for me. I use a combo of the Amex Explorer and Amex Platinum Edge, and then cycle through Visa/MCs with a signup bonus

haring my referral link into the for this great card. You will get 100,000 MR points if approved after application by 11 April and spend $3,000 in your first 3 months of membership, and I will get 30,000 points as the referrer.

The benefits have been outlined in previous posts, so I will merely add my opinion that this card is seriously good value. The travel credit pays for the annual fee and the travel and purchase protection insurances are excellent piece of mind

The highlights are:
  • Receive 100,000 Membership Rewards points when you apply online using my link before 11th April 2018, are approved and spend $3,000 on your card within the first 3 months of card membership (available to new American Express card members only).
  • $400 American Express Travel Credit every year
  • Earn 2 Membership Rewards points per $1 spent on all purchases except government bodies in Australia where you will earn 0.5 points per $1 spent
  • Transfer your points to a choice of 8 Airline Partner Programs (including Velocity, Krisflyer, Asia Miles, Emirates Skywards, and Etihad Guest)
  • Smartphone Screen Insurance for up to $500 for screen repairs to your Smartphone when you pay for your phone or contract with your American Express Explorer Credit Card
  • 2 complimentary visits to the American Express Lounge at Sydney International Airport.

-2 free visits to the AMEX Lounge at SYD
-0% balance transfer for 12 months
-The usual suite of complimentary travel insurance
-Free smartphone screen insurance
-$395 annual fee which is conveniently offset by the travel credit above
-Up to 4 free supplementary cards – perfect for taking advantage of those great AMEX cash back offers!
-Note that the usual 18 month exclusion period applies so if you currently hold or have held in the last 18 months and directly issued AMEX card you will not be eligible for the sign on bonus

What do you need to do to take up this offer?

-Click on my referral link and follow the application process.
-Spend $3,000 on the card in the first 3 months – think you might struggle to spend this much? Send me a private message and I will give you a cheap, quick way to meet this criteria!
-Sit back and rub your hands together with glee as you wait for the bonus points to hit your account!

It’s that simple folks!

This is quite simply the best AMEX card on the market and with the massive sign up bonus on offer, adding this card to your coughnal is really a no brainer!

But NoName, why should I use your link?

-As mentioned above, if you use my link we both win!
-As many will recall Mrs NoName and I ate our way across the USA in mid-2016. We gorged ourselves on all manner of cuisine. While we may have come back a half dozen kilos heavier, our points balance came back a whole lot lighter! With a return to the United States Of Eating confirmed for August, the final pieces of the points puzzle are being put into place. A couple of referrals here will put me over the top and ready to eat, drink, fly and stay. Naturally, my exploits will be shared with the forum!

Thank you again for your kind consideration and help with achieving my points goal. My referral link awaits below:

Thanks to whoever was kind enough to use my link the other day. Very much appreciated!

This offer ends tomorrow so if anyone is after a last minute application I would certainly put the 30,000pt referral bonus to good use if you were to use my link.

There are also many other fantastic members with referral links on this thread and I’m sure they would also appreciate any consideration as well.

For using my referral, you will get 60K points after meeting the minimum spend and I will also receive 60K points. This referral points will be a massive help and will go towards helping me and the wife with a relocation to Wales in Feb and travel back home to Melb a few times a year.

The Amex explorer has an annual fee of $395 which is offset by a $400 amex travel credit and is overall a really great card to have.
