Amex Card Offers - Not All That Interesting Lately

We might start getting some good offers from now to the end of the year. Last year, this was the first more generous offer that was followed by all the good supply we got heading into year end.

Over the last decade whether it has been Points Offers (sadly very rare these days) or Cashbacks, my experience has been that the last third of the year is the most fruitful.


Having said that it is clear than many more people are now adept at milking these promos, and not just AFF Members but Ozbargain and others who get fired up by any cashback offers, and so good deals often reach their subscription limits very quickly like the BP offer this week which only lasted hours.

Yes, it would have been good - except that I'd have had to travel to Melbourne CBD to redeem it (impossible for me at the moment).

The current three months of STAN for free would have been good too - except that the app for Stan on my Sony TV disappeared from the menu about a year ago.

I'm not having much luck.

Out of the way for many but obviously worthwhile if you have multiple cards.
