Just found this thread as I am in the same position looking to upgrade my plat edge to explorer. How long did it took them to send you a link? I gave them a call and they said they don’t see any offers at the moment but will ask their marketing team to contact me. Been in the plat edge for just slightly over 2 years now.

Does anyone have an upgrade link for either the Platinum Edge or the new Velocity Platinum? Link for the Velocity Platinum earlier in this thread no longer works, presumably because the link is for the old card which has been renewed. Thanks.

I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago and still haven’t heard from them. Did you hear from them? If you did, after how long?

Never heard back. I did call back and they said there’s no offer available. I got impatient and ended up applying for the Explorer before GDale sent the link so now I’ve got both plat edge and explorer. Was planning on cancelling the plat edge but ended keeping it, as I use the plat edge for my groceries and fuel for that 3x pts and the explorer for everything else.
