My 2c. This card has gone from a great card to a good card after the recent program changes but there is still value in the card. It is essentially fee free as the $395 annual fee is covered by the $400 travel credit.

Hi

I am going to be extremely optimistic and hope somebody is after this card and uses my referral link.

Not as good earn wise since the devaluation in April, but still a solid earn of the equivalent of 1 Velocity/Krisflyer/Asia Mile per dollar spent.

$400 travel credit, and smartphone screen insurance are handy perks with the card (and have used both) as well as frequent statement credit offers and potential to earn extra 0.5 FF point per dollar using local champion.

I too would be most grateful if my link is used. I used a link from here a few years ago and was most grateful of the extra points.
this card for the annual fee is certainly what most people will come to realise is great value.
the $395 comes with a $400 credit to use on flights or hotels
making the card free.
and it doesnt have a high income requirement.

The AMEX Explorer still represents decent value even after the recent devaluation and they are currently running a good promotion for referrals (60k points each).

The $400 travel credit pretty much covers the annual fee of the card so you are essentially not paying anything to use the card!

Would really appreciate anyone who is interested in this card to use my link here as this was the exact same way I signed up for this card 6 months ago.
