Well, I think this current offer which expires on 1st February is my favourite offer yet from Amex. Spend $100 on line, and get $30 back.

To my mind this is pretty much akin to what I experience at airport duty-frees, only better - as I clicked on what was already on special at the First Choice site, before picking my whiskies and getting the $30 cash back. I've used the offer on two cards, and am now deciding what to buy on my wife's supplementary card.

Does anybody else think it a fun offer?

Regards,
Renato

Would be if First Choice offered click n collect, freight charges to non metro areas stuff me up.

I think it is expired has it not - quick Google search shows an offer for first 20,000 cards to register - but I might be wrong.

I've used Click and Collect on my two orders. It shows up as an option next to the delivery address, which comes up by default.

I placed the orders earlier tonight and got confirmation from American Express that my two sets of $30 would be credited soon.

But then again, I loaded the offers when they first came out, so if all the offers have been loaded to cards, the offer would have effectively expired for those who missed out. Thus the offer is still available to those who loaded them, but haven't used them yet.

Renato

I've got this offer also.
Outstanding value for money.

Thanks, wasn't aware it was an option.
Will give it a go next time around.

Its probably a decent offer for some items but for me First Choice is probably my Last Choice in liquor retailers, even though its our closest one. So do suggest people compare prices before clicking that buy button!

Up to 30% off plus some Flybuys is hard to beat for run-of-the-mill stuff even if they are a few dollars more than Dan's. Don't find their range very extensive. I had missed the click&collect option-I would have taken it up as they only do free delivery over $150 in my area

Typical of me, I didn't read the offer correctly and spent $100 in store..
Not that much an issue though because at least I got $100 of alcohol

Strange - on average I've gotten better deals from First Choice than from Dan Murphy over the last few years, especially when they used to have the Buy Two Get Third free offers in-store.

Though I agree with you that one should check their on-line prices. I wandered into their store a month ago, and bought lots of great in-store specials. But when I looked them up on-line later, some of them were still at regular price.

Does that not mean that the offer is still there waiting to be used on your card?
Cheers,
Renato
