Amex Platinum $200 "Dining credit" towards a list of Global Restaurants

I was very busy in Paris but on the last night I took myself to Ralph's (the restaurant at the Ralph Lauren flagship store in St Germain) late in the evening and because the kitchen was about to close, asked to be seated in the bar. Amex bought me three coughtails and a dessert, all of which were excellent. The credit came about ten days after the visist and about a week after the original EUR transaction posted.

Anywhere we can check if the offer has been used on the account for the year? I don't remember anymore.
The quickest way is online, via the past charges feature and features. Select credits rather than all charges, and I believe you can filter by value too.

Once a booking made, can it be cancelled or past it on to someone?

I've booked through Pocket Concierge before (the solution used for all Japanese dining credit restaurants) and never been checked for ID, so in theory you could tell someone to show up and give your name...

Note that any additional charges they incur (e.g. drinks) gets charged back to your card also.

Great news this has been extended. I doubt they could come up with a better offer dollar for dollar given the typical interests of the average Plat card holder!

I assume this credit is based on membership year and not calendar year?

I need to look into the prepaid bookings as I would be able to double up

It's pretty straightforward, just book one this side of new years and the other next year.

Have done a couple of bookings in Japan via Pocket Concierge and they've gone smoothly.
