Just a heads up to everyone, the old AMEX referral links are dead, you need to create new ones. You've got to go here to generate new ones https://qwww316.americanexpress.com...ce=mgmerHub&inav=au_sitefooter_refer_a_friend

As always, happy if anyone wants to use my referral code for Platinum Edge, Platinum Charge or Platinum Rewards Credit Cards (PM me for links).

I've filled out the form a few times but it won't generate a link or send me an email. It sits there with option to refer via FB or LI...
is anyone else having similar troubles at the moment?

Re: AMEX Platinum Edge $0 Annual Fee (First Year). Free Return Flight & 10k Bonus Poi

It's back... $0 fee for the first year, with free domestic return flight and 10,000 bonus points...:

We know. The annoying part is the steady stream on non AFFers who come on seeking referrals. There are plenty of links available on this forum from regular members.

You could be up front and state that it is a referral link, and not the link for those applying directly from the Amex website..

Referral links are working again (although tricky to set up as Amex wants you to use facebook or Linkedin!). I would be very greatful if people would consider using mine. I'm UK based at present but with a partner living in Australia, so every referral gets me closer to home!

Sign up bonus is 10000; which is double the public offer on the Amex website. All you need to do is spend $500 on the card in the first 2 months. No annual fee in the first year (saving $195) and a free return domestic flight on Virgin every year, including checked baggage.

3 points a dollar at supermarkets, 2 points at petrol stations, 1 point everywhere else other than utilities and government, which are 1/2 point per dollar. Free travel insurance when you pay for your flights using the card.

Please use the link below or PM me if you have any questions: https://www316.americanexpress.com/...Source&MGMURN=AAAAEggWHBEWAw==&CPID=999999484

Here's a vote that you use a referral link of someone who's been here longer than a few days and has just one post!

Here's a vote that the Admins restrict posting in this subforum to users with >100 posts (but let everyone read the posts). Problem solved!!!

Hello All

  • Complimentary domestic return flight every year
  • $0 ANNUAL FEE for your first year[SUP]2[/SUP], and $195 p.a. thereafter. Card Members who wish to convert their existing American Express account to Platinum Edge will not be eligible for this offer.

Full disclosure: As the referrer I will receive 10, 000 bonus Membership Rewards points for every successful application

Please contact me via PM if you would like to apply for this card.

How does one generate a link for the referral ? I click on Refer a Friend, but it only seems to have the option of referring via Facebook or LinkedIn.
