The application is streamlined and quick - I applied online on 3/12, was approved on 6/12, and received the card on 11/12. They didn't even ask for tax returns, bank statements or links to the accounting app (I'm looking at you, NAB). I'll be honest: this is not their best offer (I think I've seen 150k before and 100k for the referer!), and I plan on using the 50k points on more flights for my daughter, who's caught the travel bug.
