Most of their call centre service have been moved back to US.

I've never had this experience... Occasionally at odd hours I might get what *could* be an offshore call centre, but not likely to be the US...

Do you have any evidence of this?

In the last couple of months all my calls have been serviced by what sounds like a US call centre. Haven't spoken to the local call centre for a long time now. Unless they've hired call operators with incredibly strong American accents in Sydney? They also no longer answer with "American Express Sydney." I have the Platinum Edge card in case that makes a difference.

I think it does make a difference...

The service I get differs between the numbers for my Platinum Charge and my Platinum Reserve cards...

I've never had a US call centre for the charge card

Just a question - it wouldn't be a Manilla call centre by any chance would it? Almost all staff in Manilla would appear to have US accents, however you can tell the difference as their pronunciation is different to native US accents

Definitely not Manila. Big difference in enunciation between native English speakers and Filipino accents. I also had the US call centre earlier this year when I was still on the Reserve. Cancelled my Charge card back in Jan or so and had the Sydney call centre then.
