No chance of compensation demand because you didnt incur a loss. The only thing you can hope for is a goodwill bonus, but thats only going to happen unless they think you are worth keeping as a customer.went straight home and submitted a complaint to AFCA, including a huge compensation demand
You did admit at the start that this is a legislative requirement, there isnt much you can do about that. It doesnt matter what you say they told you on the phone, its whats in writing that counts, and thats what the ombudsmen will decide on.
