Amex Virgin Lounge Passes

Hello,
I hope I am posting this question in the right section.
I've just checked my Amex a/c and I now have 5 credited Virgin Lounge Passes credited to my account.
Without sounding dopey, when and how can I use them? (Ie. Can I take extra guests into the lounge with me?)
I have SG status.

If you are SG you already have lounge access + 1 guest... I assume the lounge passes are not transferrable as I know this has been an issue previously...
You may be able to contact VA however and ask for an exception as you already have SG status...

I'm pretty sure I used one of my amex lounge passes on 2nd guest when I was SG around 18mths ago.

Dang!
Just checked my Velocity account, and I just have had x3 passes expire as of Wednesday!
Now I'm back to 2 passes

So I new guess that my question is what I can do with these 2 passes when I'm SG?

Hello everyone,

The Virgin Australia lounge passes are loaded onto your Velocity account. You may redeem them through the lounge staff for either yourself or any guests travelling with you. Gold members are able to bring in one guest and Platinum members are able to bring in three guests. The lounge pass would be redeemed in addition to the member guest allowance.

I gave my partner my Velocity card (WP) once and told her to ask the staff at the lounge if she could use the passes that are loaded onto my account, she reports they seemed dubious about it however after some conversion with each other allowed her access and took one of the passes off my account. Not sure I would recommend it though.
