Amex Website Account New Look

The missing cards are still there, when I go to remove a card from online services, ALL the cards come up. But only some actually show up on the main interface
 
Just received an email from AMEX to tell me all about the changes which have already happenedL

'You’ll notice a few changes the next time you log in to Online Services. With a new and modern design, it’s now easier to find your most important Account details such as your current balance and next payment due date. Plus, the improved navigation is more intuitive to help provide you with easier and faster use.'

What utter rubbish!
 
I'm not impressed with the new look either.
It says I've saved $1265 with the Edge alone but it doesn't say over what time period. That figure doesn't include giftcard savings so working out well in any case
 
Agreed, although I would call it cough, tabletised, big and non-intuitive.

Whoever the current 'website makeover guys' are at the moment, they need sacking. I'm seeing the same flavour of redesign on multiple big business websites and they all a backwards step.

Oh but it's using Big Fonts and _____ white ___ space ____ so you can see it better, isn't that wonderful??

Let's face it laptops are dead, at least far as website designers go. Portrait view is king. Scrolling and more scrolling is the flavour of the month. Go away (polite) if you want to see the relevant information all in the one landscape screen. If you do, you must be retarded. :rolleyes::eek: You need to be able to scroll. (Is it a sign you're getting old, if you complain about having to keep on scrolling??)
 
I guess my only complaint, is today I got 3 emails saying "we've made important change to your online services", one for each card. Dear Amex- SEND THEM BEFORE YOU MAKE THE CHANGES DUMMIES! I still don't mind the new look.
 
One good thing I like about the new site - when you go in the travel section, it clearly shows which cards has what travel credit and when it expires!
 
Finally got the issue of my Platinum Charge additional card not appearing resolved. Resolved is actually being too kind. Its taken about 5 calls and much messing around. In short, you can no longer use the same login to see the additional card. Instead they need to create yet another login for you in order to access it. I pointed out the absurdity of this and how its a backwards step in terms of functionality. I was also given (after asking) 3000 points in compensation for my time wasted on chasing this up.
 
It makes no sense though as my A/C card is still visible when I use the phone app within the same login as the main card.

Same here. I'm pretty confident someone just screwed up big time with the new website. Having multiple user names for the same website is ridiculously annoying!
