In a few weeks time I will take a CX flight which will make me Platinum. Straight after that flight I board a BA flight. I am worried that my CX won't post in time to change to Platinum, and I won't get my status bonus on the BA flight. Do you think QF would fix this if it was to occur?

There have been cases where Qantas has made some kind of adjustment after the flight. Not sure if this is a manual thing done, or some kind of automated sweep.

If it doesn't post, I'd call Qantas a week later to argue your case.

In my experience it's taken about 3 working days for the CX travel to post to my QF account.

Last Month I took an award flight on CX SIN-CMB; whereupon I commenced my first DONE4.

I flew CX in Business on Thursday Oct 20th (2 times), Friday Oct 21st & Saturday Oct 22nd then QF in Business Sunday Oct 23rd.

My QF flight posted the next day (on Monday morning) and all 4 CX flights posted overnight Wednesday Oct 26th.

As a matter of interest, my award flight on CX 19th Oct does not show at all; on the same award booking I had a QF SYD-SIN on Oct 18th; it does show.

I have had this happen...

Qantas fixed it and gave me the increased status credits a few days later...

I had the following entry into my online statement:

POINTS ADJUSTMENT DUE RECALC OF STATUS BONUS QF 044 ECONOMY 17SEP05 AUCKLAND/SYDNEY 670 670 0

Interestingly for me is that when I flew this flight I wan't a Platinum, but then I sent in some previous boarding passes which I was holding on to (thinking I would keep them until the next year), and when QF credited these points, they worked out that I would have been Platinum when I had taken the flight above, so they gave me the bonus!

Kudos to QF for thinking far beyond what I actually was thinking!

I have had a similar manual adjustment undertaken. Just a phone call to explain and the manual adjustment was done immediately without hesitation.

I've had a manual adjustment for another reason, but glad to hear that I'll be fine. As always, I appreciate the feedback. Thanks. :D

On domestic flights, I've had the flight misentered by the check in staff (e.g. paid ticket upgrad being put in as FF ticket) resulting in no SCs. A phone call to QF (during office hours only please) resolves the problem on the phone - nice!
