An impromptu trip to Broken Hill

We went through Broken Hill on the Indian Pacific a few years ago and went to the desert sculptures as the off train excursion. It was very early in the morning but stunning.

For dinner last night I went to the Broken Hill Hotel, it was pretty good. Started with some oysters kilpatrick followed by a wet aged sirloin (I ate this and realised I had not taken a photo) and a couple of glasses of the Battle of Bosworth Shiraz.

I went there last night and it was excellent.

Coming home I decided I did not want a travelling companion and Siri was silenced, I got distracted and turned right somewhere along the drive and ended up in Mintaro. I have been here before the pub is quite nice and I have delusions of grandeur of living in this place.
