An interesting email from Velocity

Just received this email. Presumably some members, including myself, have had more flight upgrades than they were entitled to.

Does anyone actually get to use them? Not that great for use ex PER that's for sure. I get them.and don't use them! Cheaper buying upgrades from choice!

I noticed this in my account around March this year I had 16 available in my account.
I laughed when I saw it as I knew that it's too pricey for flex fares most of the time these days.

Been booking more D class business fares than Y class flex economy fares this year.

I am now half way through my membership year and have not yet used a single one - also got the email screenshotted above.

I don’t consider them a benefit of WP. VA needs to rework this benefit for it to be of use.

They are a joke sadly.

The mere fact folks here were sitting on 10 or 20 they were not entitled to, and did not use them proves it.

If I was given 100 of them I'd not use them. Paid Biz is often similar $$s to Flex, but with lot more SC.

Bring them back on CHOICE fares. They control inventory 100%, so no big deal.

CHOICE prices have been escalating strongly well before REX folded on Capital cities, and compared to Jetstar on some routes are very pricey.
