Annual NZ Dinner: CHC 19 March 2022 [Cancelled]

Well NZ might have put this event on hold.

NZers can return from 16January without quarantine others not until 30 April which will likely change for Australians
Things can change in the next three months. 🙏

With their "Book with Confidence" Qantas have given those so booked until 28th February to make a final decision. Of course, Qantas may make the choice for me by cancelling.

As long as we are other eligible travellers, we should be ok.
  1. Opening to fully vaccinated New Zealand citizens and other travellers eligible under our current settings from Australia — from 11:59 pm on 16 January 2022 (provided they have been in Australia or New Zealand for the past 14 days).

Other eligible refers to those with exemptions and I think family of NZ citizens. Currently I don't think it includes Australians in general. All subject to change of course.

There is a small loophole. Ocean kayaks. If a flotilla of AFF left from Hobart, it would take a few weeks, so you should be exempt quarantine.
