Simon has a very Aussie sense of humour...have met him twice, at Ozfest in Canberra in 2012 and Japan Do in Tokyo in 2013...he "led" us on a day trip from Tokyo to Nagarno...when we got to Nagarno train station, he pointed to the tourist info centre, and waved in the direction of the temple and said he himself was heading to the nearest restaurant......for some shut eye...there were allegations that he had come straight from the bar in Tokyo to Tokyo station to catch the train to Nagarno. I'm sure penegal and SQ421 can confirm or deny these allegations!!
